Friendly Plague Doctor,
Full wool hood with leather trimmed eyes and bill filled with sweet smelling lavender to ward off all plague-filled air.
During the Black Death in the 1330s to 1340s, it was believed the plague traveled through bad air. The mask was designed to constrain the bad air by having it pass through herbs and flowers.
Wool, leather, cotton thread, scissors, sewing machine, lavender in linen/cotton bag
